Dentures & Bridges : Getting Used to Talking Again With Partial Dentures

Suggestions:
Unless the tongue is crowded by a incorrect bite or too much acrylic on the plate, normally the speech is only very slightly changed and corrects in one day. The dentist should ask you to talk normally and listen for lisping, etc. when you talk. Sometime, when the tryin stage is done in wax, phonetics should be checked. This isn’t the case with a immediate, and it will take time for the muscles in the mouth and face to relax and adjust to the prosthetics and for the soft tissue to heal.
